Past Events:
November 6th World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions Show- On Friday, November 6th, a group of 20 members from the club, including
parents, saw the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions perform at the Paul
Tsongas Arena in Lowell. The show featured the Lipizzaner Stallions
and their riders. They performed intricate equine ballet, exhibiting
maneuvers through the highest level of dressage. The horses pranced,
marched, and intricately weaved their way across the floor to the music
of masters. The MC for the show spoke about the history of the breed
as well as the training involved, and the moves performed. It was an
exciting and educational evening.
October 12th Plainridge Race Track Tour- We were lucky enough to be invited back to Plainridge Race Track. This time, those that didn't have a chance to go in May were able to go. The group was again assisted by Assistant Paddock Judge Robert Lieberman. The group even got to meet Miniature Trick Horses. Everyone had a great time!
June 20th Polo Match- A great time was had by all that joined in the tailgating fun at the Newport International Polo Series polo match. The group got to... watch Scotland and the USA play polo, stomp divots, and have their pictures taken with the various team members. Thanks, Meghan, for organizing this fabulous trip for us!
May 15th Plainridge Race Track tour- As the first ever Woodville Trailbusters field trip, this should definitely count as a success! Members that attended the field trip got a behind-the-scenes tour of the race track, meeting trainers and jockeys, and a horse named Goober. Goober won his race later that day and the members got to pose with him in his winner's circle photo. Also, our tour guide and Assistant Paddock Judge Robert Lieberman wrote an article about us at www.harnesslink.com/www/Article.cgi?ID=72276
Thank you, Meghan, for organizing this for us!
